Linworld's 5th China International Anti-Corruption Compliance Summit 2021
July 8-9, 2021 witnessed the success of Linworld 5th China International Anti-Corruption Compliance Summit 2021 in Beijing Kuntai Royal Hotel, Beijing, China.
Participants from leading companies and organizations such as Walmart, ZF, EDF, Kraftheinz, Novartis, Pfizer, Vale, Swissre, BMW, PwC, Afton Chemical, RB, ect.,discussed the latest developments, challenges and cases regarding the anti-corruption and compliance field. Most of attendees provided positive feedback to this event and expect to attend next one.
The two-day event mainly consists of the following three parts:
First part: Deep interpretation of multi-jurisdictional anti-corruption laws, anti-money laundering laws and data security Laws. Speakers from World Bank, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, People's Public Security University of China, Duan & Duan, King & Wood Mallesons, Steptoe & Johnson, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius and Dentons, went deeply into FCPA, UKBA, China New-Unfair Competition Law, Anti-Money Laundering Law, Non-Prosecution of Criminal Compliance, Data Security Laws and Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law and enforcement trends by policy updates and real case studies.
Second part: Firsthand experiences from industry leaders. The risk management mechanism from EY, Corporate Self-Assessment and Internal Investigation from TI, Compliance Challenges Management Systems from Philip Morris, Internal Control Preparedness Kit from EDF and Cyber Attack Landscape from KPMG evoked lively discussions.
Third part: Culture of compliance journey, industry veterans from Pfizer, Novartis, Budweiser, EY, White & Case, Grandall Law Firm, etc, shared their experience in how to truly enable employees to accept compliance culture and implement it practically in their own initiative and how to promote a speak-up culture in China.
Although the two-day’s 5th China International Anti-Corruption Compliance Summit 2021 is closed, however the discussion of the above-mentioned topics are still going on.
